Welcome to Nursery

Ms Van Cook is the class teacher and Miss Crabtree and Mrs Flanagan are the Teaching Assistants in Nursery.

A warm welcome to our new Nursery children and their parents/ carers too.

Below is some information for parents/ carers. I appreciate how busy life is, so I have kept it as brief as possible. An important note- click on the star tabs below to see your child’s learning. This will be updated weekly. 

Please ensure you read to your child for 5 or 10 minutes EVERY DAY, as this underpins their learning in ALL areas of the curriculum. 

Your child will be given a short and simple homework task every Friday. This will need to be completed in order for your child to make optimum progress in their learning. I will email you in due course. 

Your child has P.E on Thursdays, Geography on Fridays and Music on Tuesdays. Art will be taught once a week and History will be taught in conjunction with other subjects. R.E/ PSHE is also taught once a week. Maths and English are taught every day. 

Please ensure your child has a water bottle, a book bag, a change of clothes, a coat and wellies in school.
